Time!

Well I have come to mark time, not in minutes but in small vignettes..The small hour before I leave for work to just breath, The 8 hours of work, my after work time..home doing what I can as far as sewing and my Farmville2..yes Im a gamer from way back starting with my atari !! :)  If I were to consider time in small increments I think I might be a bit crazy (however I am but that's another story!!). I find with age comes wisdom, and only through aging can we become wise. The wisdom I have to impart today is just be!! Rushing through this or that only puts you in a rush and how can you enjoy the little things if your always rushing.
Today I received a prize I won on  http://evapaigequiltdesigns.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-midsummer-nights-giveaway.html It's her Quilting Hottie Haven Blog! Opening my mailbox and finding my package made my day and it's these small moments I speak of. I revel in the feel of fabric..the smell of spray starch, and the push from my cat as I sit in my chair as he head butts me when he jumps on the arm of my chair!!
You know the old saying "Stop and smell the Roses" well you just might find something amazing if you do.. and even if you don't find anything in particular at least you have stopped to take a breath and just be!!
